City Transportation

Hustle hassle traveling back

And forth to work

Car, bus, taxi, walk

Many ride the subway

Fastest travel from

Point to point

Not always the safest

All type of people

Old, young, middle age

Sober, drunk, sick, well

Mentally ill

One mentally unwell passenger

Enter the train

Jordan Neely

Shouting, begging for money

Threatening, frighting passengers

Not the first time

Unfortunately died in a skirmish

With three people holding him down

Trying to subdue him

Jordan relative knew of his

Criminal record and jail time

Did nothing to help him get well

Now want money for his death

Should Daniel Perry pay the price

For helping to contain the situation

Preventing further injury

Should Jordon Needly relatives

Get monetary damages for his death

Or charged with involuntary

Manslaughter

Perhaps the subway passengers

Should sue Jordon Needly’s

Relatives for pain they suffered

Daniel Perry should not be charged

This was not a Black or White issue

Society failed Jordon Needly

May he now be at peace

Artificial City Living

Surrounded by buildings

Fenced in enclosed area

Artificially made containing

Houses, landscaped, enclosures

In a jungle jailed like atmosphere

Placed in the middle of the city

That were trapped, gather,

By bounty hunters

Specimens taken from their environment

No court, judge, no defense

Placed in cages for life

Environment recreated

Maintained, fed, all needs met

Studied, reproduced, put in similar accommodations

Displayed for public exploitation

Passer buyers take pictures, picnic,

Buy at food carts, ice cream stands

Observe the specimens

Open every day for viewing

Pay a fee, buy a ticket

Pass through the gate

Enter the zoo
